I'm a longtime user of Yahoo mail and in the past few days they've apparently made some kind of upgrade to their site that doesn't allow
me to access the mail using TenFourFox on my G4 running Tiger. The
sign-in page will load, but the next page with the log in gives me a
"Bad Font detected" error, and the page doesn't respond at all when I
enter the password.
I was wondering if there's any tweak I could make to TenFourFox to
access Yahoo mail again, or perhaps use some other browser that will
run on Tiger. I use the G4 to maintain my website and correspond with customers, and it's going to be a big hassle to transfer the
correspondence to my newer iMac running Mojave via text files and an
ftp server. I think the page with the emails would still work if I
could get past the log in page.

Using a proper email program rather than the web browser might solve
the problem. :-)
The other way would be to use the newer Mac to read / reply to emails,
and then transfer any attachments back to the G4 via a USB stick or
network sharing when needed.

I guess I could just start using the TenFourBird email program set up
with my provider's service which still works on the G4 for the customer correspondence.

I know but I was trying to avoid that.
I haven't mothballed the G4 because I have a printer and a scanner
hooked up to it and don't want to invest in new ones for the newer iMac,
also I can run a very early Classic version of Photoshop I like on it
that I'd have to go down the SheepShaver rabbit hole to emulate on the
newer iMac.

Both the scanner and printer might work on newer Mac, although the
original software probably won't work, so instead would mean using
something like VueScan and GutenPrint.
A few years ago, I did help someone update from a dying CRT G3 iMac to
an newer Intel LCD iMac, and surprisingly their *really* ancient
printer worked with no problems after simply connecting it to the newer iMac.

That could be a bigger problem, although SheepShaver is reasonably
stable (with a few quirks).
If it is a version of Photoshop that works in both MacOS 9 and early
MacOS X, then running Fusion, Parallels, or the free virtualisation
apps might be an option.

It's an old Canon flatbed scanner and I'm already using VueScan
software for it, I'm pretty sure that software (very picky as to which versions will work with particular scanners) wouldn't work on a Mid
2014 iMac running Mojave. The printer is also a Canon, older Pixma
model, but I doubt if its software would run on the newer iMac either
and I don't know if they have any updated software for such an old
model.
Both of those are hard wired to the G4, I suppose I could buy some kind
of printer/scanner combo that uses Bluetooth for the newer iMac but I
just don't want to hassle with it.

I just never liked importing/exporting files out of SheepShaver.

This is Photoshop 3.0, a Classic app that only runs on OS 9 (or OS X
under Tiger at the latest if you have it configured to run old Classic apps). I'm not really familiar with Fusion or the virtualisation apps.
Let me ask you a system upgrade question about my 2014 iMac running Mojave.
I bought this computer on eBay going on five years now. It was running Yosemite (or maybe Mavericks, I can't remember) and I downloaded a
Monterey installation app from Apple and ran that but for some reason
the mother ship installed Mojave instead.
That was OK with me at the time, but years later some websites like my
Chase credit card are starting to fuss about me running an older
browser (Firefox 115, its latest security update for a Mojave system)
and won't let me in.
I have the Mojave system backed up on an ADATA 240 GB external SSD
drive, and also on a Samsung 256 GB thumb drive.
Since I don't need two backups of the same system, I was thinking I
could upgrade the thumb drive to Big Sur (or Monterey) so I can run a
later Firefox (or Chrome) browser under the later system when I need to.
I've read some horror stories about people's hard drives being bricked
when they tried to upgrade directly from Mojave to Big Sur or Monterey,
I was just wondering if my internal hard drive wouldn't be affected if
I tried to upgrade the thumb drive to one of the later systems. Would I
need to upgrade to Catalina first before upgrading to Big Sur or
Monterey? The last thing I'd want to do is screw up the Mojave system
on the internal hard drive.
Also sometimes the thumb drive acts kind of funky, sometimes it won't
mount on the desktop for a few days after an extended power failure.
Samsung makes pretty good stuff and i suspect it's probably the system
doing that for some reason.

I haven't tried it. I'm still running MacOS 10.13 High Sierra and don't
have problems with websites*, but then I don't do online banking ... I
go to the actual bank branch as any sane person does. ;-)
I sometimes think about upgrading the MacOS, but can't really be
bothered nor have the time for all the hassle of doing it and updating third-party apps, etc. (especially when many newer versions have
stupidly become subscription only).
* There are a couple of websites that don't like old Safari, but still
work in old Firefox. Extremely rarely neither will work and I have to
use old Chrome instead.

go to the actual bank branch as any sane person does. ;-)

If you can find one you can get to.

True, but I live in a big city, so despite greedy banks closing down
all the small suburban branches, there are still three or four of
branches around the larger area near me. Although it's not the closest,
I almost always go to the branch that is not inside a shopping mall, so
it is quiet (you can hear the tellers) and not usually busy. I mainly
only need to go once a month to transfer money to pay off the the
credit card bill.
