Uneducated people readily & strongly believe that gravity is a force.
Right?
But wait... Einstein hypothesized that it's not a force.
And even Newton thought that the action at a distance was preposterous.
Doesn't make any difference to its sphericity.
I live in mountainous boonies above the Silicon Valley & Monterey Bay
where, since I'm an octogenarian, I seem to fall down a lot lately.
So I studied why gravity is so immensely powerful given Einstein said it wasn't a force at all but the earth expanding outward at 9.8m/s/s and
curving spacetime rushing inward at 11km/s - perfectly balancing out such that the earth *becomes* a sphere (almost symmetric in sphericity).
My point is that the Apple trolls like Jolly Roger, nospam, Lewis, Alan Baker, Alan Browne, Joerg Lorenz, Chris, Hemidactylus, et al., are Apple trolls *because* they don't have the intelligence or education to know the difference between what Apple marketing (cleverly) feeds them - and truth.I claim to teach road racing... ...because I do, in fact, teach road racing.
They just don't have the intelligence but that alone isn't what makes these Apple trolls the deniers of facts that they are (as they probably all think gravity is a force for example - simply because they are ignorant people).
Just as Alan Baker claims to know bimmers but he doesn't know the basics,
and just as he claims to teach racing but he knows nothing about curves, these uneducated low-IQ Apple trolls all are to the left of the 1st DK quartile.
There are no others, here.

The SE (1st gen) was the last model launched with a headphone jack. Plus

For those who never took a marketing class in college, Apple strategically removes functionality from its devices so that people have to buy it back.

I have a college degree. You do not.
Most uneducated people actually believe gravity is a force, so I know that you're like all the Apple trolls - you have no college education at all.
Certainly not in physics.
It's interesting you lied because no physicist is unaware of Einstein's equivalency principle which hypothesizes about the earth's acceleration.
And every real physicist is well aware of electromagnetic repulsion.
Except you.
Since you lied about being a physicist, please click on this link:
<https://www.google.com/search?q=why+gravity+is+not+a+force>
Pick *any* reference that shows that the earth is actually moving up.
*Why General Relativity (and Newton's Laws) tell us The Sky is Falling Up*
<https://youtu.be/GuLL_upE4zk>
But as a nonagenarian I do understand about falling down! So far I have
been lucky and bounced. Walk carefully and avoid turning round on the spot.
Watch this video since you're NOT a physicist - this guy *is* a physicist:
*The TRUE Cause of Gravity in General Relativity*
<https://youtu.be/PjT85AxTmI0>
It covers the earth moving up.
Then watch this from the same physicist. It covers spacetime moving down.
*The River Model of General Relativity*
<https://youtu.be/hFlzQvAyH7g>
You can pick *any* reference you want but those with physics degrees know what Einstein's equivalency principle means.
Essentially the earth is round (and all planets are round) simply because
the electrostatic outward repulsion exactly equals the inward rushing 4D spacetime attraction to massenergy - which is what determines sphericity.
Hint: I'm not stupid. Most people are stupid. You are not a physicist.

Well now! That is a very dogmatic assertion, made out of total ignorance.
In actual fact, I have a BA and a DPhil in Physics at Oxford. (That is the Oxford equivalent of PhD at most universities).
And I can prove it, naturally. But it would be better, since you are who

But perhaps you do not regard Oxford as a proper college?

Keble. But that is really only significant as an undergraduate, and then
only from a tutorial point of view. Lectures, practical work were
university matters. Post graduate work was pretty much independent of college, far more on your supervisor.

I've studied you Apple trolls; but I study you the most, Jolly Roger.
*I learn a lot about you from what you write*, Jolly Roger.
From what you and the other Apple trolls write, I've concluded that
nary a single one of you Apple trolls owns a college degree - which is important.
The fact you can't even earn your GED, Jolly Roger, shows that none of
you Apple trolls owns the mental capabilities to comprehend complex situations.
Hence, you fall for every trick in the book Apple feeds you to
believe.
Your whole life you've been told you are stupid - but not by Apple.
Apple tells you that your decision to wait outside in long lines is
smart.
You *love* Apple for that reason.
Why do you think Alan Browne loves those Apple white papers so much,
JR? Because they affirm that he chose the "superior product".
Why do all of you Apple trolls hate people who tell the truth about
Apple? HINT: Same reason all religious zealots hate someone stating
the truth.
Part of the reason you're an Apple troll, Jolly Roger, is that you
don't own the mental abilities to comprehend Apple manipulates you
perfectly.
What is hilarious about that statement is it shows
No, what is hilarious is your inability to see that no one cares about
what YOU think they should consider an issue, and therefore can't see
the humor in the joke. Of course, that was predictable.

The fact remains that you ridiculed the use of "vehicle" in immunology, and you claimed that a RNA viral genome of the SARS-COV-2 size was smaller in comparison to other viruses. Both are preposterous statements by you.

That paper says *exactly* what I have been saying all along, and which you had said was wrong - and yet - that paper shows *exactly* what I said.
This is a direct quote about RNA viral genomes from that very paper, Chris.
"viruses exhibit a wide diversity of genome sizes. RNA viruses
possess genomes that are universally small, ranging from 1,682
nucleotides (nt) (hepatitis delta virus [Deltavirus]) to 31,526
nt (murine hepatitis virus [Coronaviridae])."
Clue by four: 30K subunits is big for an RNA viral particle, Chris.
Very big.
The fact you don't understand the paper is consistent with all the Apple trolls never understanding anything slightly complex - you prove me right.

I also had my eye on an ILX around the same price range. Those were pretty much fancier Civics. I rarely see them and they were discontinued.
For some reason my Youtube feed coughs up rando videos on oddball cars. Recently it was a 1971 Pantera being driven and I was smitten. Looks like

I’m happy with the HR-V as a small crossover with a higher stance than my Civic had. Maybe I’ll keep looking at 1-series Bimmers online. They seem expensive to maintain, but cheaper to get into than a Mercedes or Porsche. 911s are a bit steep for me.It's a classic thing with faddests of all types.
A tricked out 1-series would be sweet though I’d be better off with some Japanese platform hot rod. I seriously don’t get stance cars with weird camber.

I've always been interested in an entry level older BMW.
I once owned a 525i on which I had to replace almost everything because BMW only knows how to make drive trains - BMW has no idea how systems work together.
An example is the DISA valve is an abomination, as is the CCV and even the ABS control module has those angel hairs which break in the goop they're intertwined with.
The seat cables cause seat twist. Even something as simple as the
cupholders break. The Dorman window regulators have too small of a nylon roller so the cable falls off. And don't even get me started on the Behr plastic overly complex expansion tanks.
The water pump fails prematurely (and requires two special tools, including
a very thin very long 32mm open-end wrench to access), while the trunk loom constantly frays causing shorts all over the place due to bare wires touching.
Everyone had the BMW software (much of which was in German) including but
not limited to dis, easydis, gt1, progman, inpa, and ncs dummies & expert.
Much as I've studied the strange nature of you Apple trolls, I've always wondered why BMW engineers can't make two systems work together other than the drive train and suspension. Those do work fantastically together.
Nothing else does though... (at least not on the 525i which is the only bimmer that I know about - but don't get me started on the beemers).

Given all you Apple trolls are worthless pieces of shit who have never in your entire lives done anything worthwhile for other fellow human beings
it's not surprising that you don't understand even what a CCV is.
Alan Baker, who claims to own bimmers, doesn't know what a CCV is.
He has no idea what a DISA valve is either.
He knows nothing of INPA nor EDIABAS. He can't even spell them.

Notice how embarrassed these ignorant Apple trolls are that someone
actually knows something about cars (in this case, bimmers) that they themselves can't possibly know (because they lack a normal IQ).
Alan Baker, who professes to *race* cars doesn't even know what a catenary is, when it's one of the most critically important terms in physics when it comes to *understanding* curved shapes and how they sweep over distance).
Alan Baker, who professes to own a BMW, doesn't even know what the term "bimmer" means - and worse - since it was a racing term derived after "beemer" was - he's completely ignorant of what EVERYONE else long knew.

OK. Then let's take that as prima facie evidence that you claim to have a doctorate in Physics, which means you're familiar with Newton, right?
Even Newton said a priori that its action at a distance was preposterous,
but it was the best he could propose until Einstein enlightened all of us.
What did Einstein postulate is the true source of what we call gravity?

Everyone makes fun of the noobs who don't know these things.
It would seem that I am not alone in believing that gravity exists.

The fact that you don't even understand the difference between existing,
and being a force shows that you are merely an imposter who knows nothing.
An example is an iPhone exists - but it's not a force.
The fact you can't separate existing from being a force tells me everything
I need to know about you - you're just another piece of Apple trolling excrement who lies about everything - as you don't know physics at all.
The fact remains, Einstein's hypothesis is that gravity is not a force. Everyone knows this.
Well, everyone but you Apple trolls knows this.
As it's one of the most basic tenets of all physics.
Even I know it.
And I know nothing about physics other than what I learned in school.
My point is you Apple trolls don't know anything. About anything.
Least of all about Apple products.
All you Apple trolls (Lewis, Jolly Roger, Alan Baker, Alan Browne, Chris, Haemactylus, Joerg Lorenz, JF Mezei et. al) merely parrot Apple marketing.
Which you then defend to the death, no matter what.
Because your whole life you've been told you are stupid and yet Apple tells you that you're a genius for waiting outside their store in long lines.
And you believe it.
Because Apple feeds your ego.
That's why you hate anyone who posts the truth about Apple products here.

If you pick up the needle and move it past that spot you won't have to
hear the same thing over and over again.

I have two purposes on this Apple newsgroup, one of which is to learn about and disseminate information about the Apple product line & Apple strategy.
The other is to show in the public record for all to see what kind of
rather strangely unusual people you Apple trolls are. You're not normal.
As just one example, what kind of moron stands in line outside *any* store just for the privilege of paying through the nose for substandard crap?
Only people like you Apple trolls do that, namely those like Lewis, Jolly Roger, Alan Baker, Alan Browne, Chris, Haemactylus, Joerg Lorenz, JF Mezei et. al) all of whom merely parrot Apple marketing in an echo chamber inside their brains.

Heh, I guess I'm about done with reading any more of your nonsense. All you're interested in is causing chaos. Time to put the filters back to work. Anything you post, and all subthreads will be blocked. That
should make the group usable again.
Good Bye, and hopefully more people will follow.

(2010-12ish) that was really cheap. Then after it hadn’t been bought
for a month it got cheaper and the listing started detailing some of
the issues. Hard pass. I’ve always been interested in an entry level
older BMW. There was another one that was kinda cool looking but I
was already in the process of dealing with my Civic getting
rear-ended and totaled and replacing it with an HR-V. I also had my
eye on an ILX around the same price range. Those were pretty much
fancier Civics. I rarely see them and they were discontinued.
For some reason my Youtube feed coughs up rando videos on oddball
cars. Recently it was a 1971 Pantera being driven and I was smitten.
Looks like the sort of car it would be too easy to die in but having
too much fun with the demise. F’in beast.
I’m happy with the HR-V as a small crossover with a higher stance
than my Civic had. Maybe I’ll keep looking at 1-series Bimmers
online. They seem expensive to maintain, but cheaper to get into than
a Mercedes or Porsche. 911s are a bit steep for me.
A tricked out 1-series would be sweet though I’d be better off with
some Japanese platform hot rod. I seriously don’t get stance cars
with weird camber.

I am not a BMW fan, but only because I prefer more practical cars.
However I appreciate the BMW dedication to the driving experience nd
realize its popularity with people who like a more spirited drive.
My earlest recollection of BMWs was the BMW 2002 models of the 1970s.
Maybe someone can describe their experience with those models and
compare it to today's 1xx or 3xx models.
