    Hello,

    MacCafé is a newsreader for macOS, initially designed for
    French-speaking MacSOUP users who needed a 64-bit newsreader that can
    run on recent versions of the system. The latest version of MacCafé
    (v.3.02) has an interface and documentation translated into English.

    MacCafé has some features inspired by MacSoup, such as the graphical representation of the thread in the message windows, but it also offers additional features: powerful search tools (in the database or on news servers), filtering rules applicable when retrieving messages,
    Cancel-Lock management, image viewer, multilingual spell checking, etc.
    It is a multi-profile, multi-server and multi-base newsreader.

    If you are a MacSOUP user, you can import messages stored in your
    MacSOUP database into MacCafé.

    MacCafé is actively developed by Gilbert OLIVIER using 4D language. It
    can be downloaded for free from:

    <https://maccafe.fr/en>

    If you want to know more about MacCafé before trying it, you can consult
    its online documentation:

    <http://yakakwatik.org/mc/documentation/en/tarrazu/>

    The English translation is probably far from perfect. So any
    English-speaking user who finds mistakes is kindly invited to report
    them in this thread.

    Does it support ‘ignore case’ and/or regex in filters.
