    NAUTILUS to carry SYSTEM 7.0 on CD ROM.
    Dublin, Ohio - NAUTILUSSM (the CD ROM based subscription information service) is pleased to announce that Apple Computer, Inc. has granted permission for it
    to carry the new version of Apple's operating software, System 7.0 on its May 27th issue.
    "Our next issue will include a fully functional version of Apple's new operating software, System 7.0. We are obviously delighted with Apple's decision to allow us to provide this valuable service to our subscribers," stated Jeff Wilkins, Chairman and CEO of Metatec. "Since we launched NAUTILUS last September we have have made it a priority to provide our subscribers with
    the latest information available for the Macintosh. This is just one more example of our commitment to our subscribers, and to the advancement of CD ROM
    technology."
    In addition to the System 7.0 software, the May 27th issue of NAUTILUS will contain an extended audio interview with Steve Goldberg Apple's System 7.0 product manager. The interview, divided into subject areas, can be accessed directly through NAUTILUS using the standard Macintosh audio capability.
    This special issue of NAUTILUS will be sent to all regular subscribers and will
    be made available at no charge to anyone who subscribes to 12 issues of NAUTILUS before July 1, 1991.
    NAUTILUS is a multimedia CD ROM based information service published every four
    weeks (at a cost of $9.95 per disc for a twelve issue subscription). Each issue
    covers a wide variety of information and resources for the Macintosh user, including desk top publishing, multimedia, education, MIDI, entertainment, software demos, reviewed shareware and photography, and more. Subscribers can access general information about each topic, plus a wide variety of software provided on each new issue for their use, review and entertainment.
    The System 7.0 software contained on NAUTILUS includes the complete set of 7.0
    operating software as well as the "Before You Install" and "Compatibility Checker" HyperCard stacks, however, it does not include many of the features found in Apple's Personal and Group Upgrade kits which are only available through authorized Apple Retailers.
