For crystal-clear clarity, apparently Tyrone is claiming the following,
which is NOT what I have summarized in this thread, which, as far as I
know, contains the latest that is published about Apple's criminal case.

I don't see you start many threads.

He mostly just pops into threads to defend Arlen's weak trolls.

Speaking of trolls, it looks like Alan and Jolly Roger have joined the
    conversation.

Alan knows full well I have started numerous conversations asking how
to do something or why did something change on my phone. And of course
there are all the Apple/iPhone news articles I post.

As for Jolly Roger's assertion, I don't take anything Arlen says
personally like the rest of you do. When he's pointing out flaws in
the iPhone, for some reason you people act like he's pointing out flaws
in your child or wife and come after him with (figurative) knives.

But he is always pointing out imaginary flaws. Look at his topics:

"Why does Apple put crappy batteries in iPhones?". They don't. They get to use
smaller (and lighter) batteries that make the phone that much more attractive.
And - as pointed out multiple times - iPhones with smaller batteries run longer than Android phones with larger batteries. Because efficiency.

"Why does iOS make you login every day?". It doesn't. No one here has seen this. Arlen has yet to prove this is actually happening. NONE of the links he has supplied supports his claims about tokens. Again.

"Apple pleads guilty in France, pays $27 million fine". Never happened. France OFFERED TO SETTLE, and Apple agreed. Since the case was settled out of court, no one "plead guilty" to anything. This was noted in the link that HE provided. BTW, in any legal action, when the plaintiff offers to settle that tells you all you need to know about their chances of winning if it goes to court.

"Why is iOS so insecure?" It isn't. As DOZENS of links prove, iOS is WAY less likely to get malware than Android. Some of these links were links that HE provided.

"Why does Apple not provide 'Industry Standard' audio jacks and SD card slots". Both were industry standards 15 years ago. Today, less than half of phones sold have either. An "industry standard" is something that ALL phones have. Like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, touch screens, cameras, GPS.

"It is impossible to get a photo from a Windows PC to an iPhone without using Apple's servers". In which we taught Arlen all about networking and the Files app. We even mentioned the SMB Server app for iOS.

That led to "iOS can't possibly run an SMB Server because Android can't". In which we PROVED him wrong on that too. He actually accused us of making all of
this up. Meanwhile he was "furiously Googling" in his pathetic attempt to prove us wrong. It never occurred to him to just INSTALL the SMB Server app and see for himself. "Scientist" indeed.

    And on and on.

If Arlen would point out ACTUAL flaws, we could discuss them like adults. But there is nothing to "discuss" in these childish threads that he starts, other than (1) Why Is Arlen Always Lying and (2) to prove him wrong. Again.

The real question is, Why is Arlen so obsessed with Apple?

    No it's not.

    Hi Jolly Roger,

I think it's important to help Tyrone understand his own feelings of
betrayal since his emotions are clearly based on his own distortions.

For example, in the most recent thread I authored on summarizing what we
know about Apple's settlement of the criminal case against them, I clearly explained EXACTLY what Apple was required to do in that criminal case.

It's clear how Apple settled that criminal case against them, both by
making monetary settlements and behavioral changes forced upon them.

Yet, for some reason, Tyrone is apparently beside himself in anger that he feels that recent summary says things which are never said in that summary.

Everything Tyrone claimed he was incensed about, was a similar distortion.

Hence, I don't blame Tyrone for being incensed at his own distortions.

But what I think we need to do to help him is ask why, feeling so
aggrieved, he first distorted the facts he then felt so aggrieved about.

I think the importance of this thread is it helps people like Tyrone, who
feels aggrieved that Apple was charged with criminal conduct, direct their anger toward why Apple settled this case with monetary & behavioral impact.

Instead of directing their anger at me for being the messenger, I feel it's important that they begin to direct their anger at Apple, where it belongs.

This response moments ago to badgolferman on that very topic, is important
    to understand.

I wonder why Tyrone won't respond to your description of his statement. Someone is clearly wrong, but whom?

    Hi badgolferman,

    He won't.
    But that's OK.

I understand Tyrone a bit, so I would never expect him to respond to what I wrote since he actually 'wants' to feel aggrieved about his distortions.

The evidence for that observation is that EVERY SINGLE ONE of his
statements was a distortion of what was said, so it's not an accident.

Every gross distortion Tyrone made was in the direction of absolving Apple.
So those gross distortions Tyrone is reacting to are NOT by accident.

    They're made on purpose.
He just didn't expect me to defend myself using nothing more than facts.

His goal was to make me react to his emotions.
Instead, I simply pointed to the facts.

This is how I wills strive to move forward in the "Year of Maria".
I think I it may raise the level of newsgroup discussions by doing that.

In summary, I don't expect a response from Tyrone to my pointing to his
gross distortions as he made those distortions on purpose to 'save' Apple.

I'm, not trained as a psychologist, but my layman's assessment is he wants
to feel aggrieved as that allows him to process the fact that Apple settled that case (by payment & behavioral changes) which was criminal in nature.

It's the "criminal" part of that case which so incenses Tyrone.
    And it should.

But he needs to direct his anger at Apple, not me, for that criminal case.
