Hi, I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can install netatalk?

It is not available in the repository any longer it would seem.

    'no installation candidate'.

    Thanks in advance.

It was dropped from Debian Bookworm (and hence I assume Raspbian) for
    being very insecure.

    Can you not use Samba?

I was going to write that there are computers that speak AFP but not SMB,
but then this happened earlier this year:

    https://a2central.com/2024/07/stephen-heumann-smb-fst/

I think that leaves the Apple IIe (with a Workstation Card) as the only
machine left that can handle AFP but can't handle SMB, and there are other options for getting files into and out of one of those (such as a Raspberry
Pi plugged into a serial port).

(There might also be some older Macintosh models that don't handle SMB, but
I have less experience with those.)
