I couldn't resist, I decided to go through my wishlist and the big
sellers on sale (first 5 pages) and here's what I got:

    Moonlighter $2.99 https://www.gog.com/en/game/moonlighter
(same as on the Steam list Spalls posted, same price, and I'd rather support no DRM/GOG)

    ------

    Chorus (Chorvs?) $2.49 https://www.gog.com/en/game/chorus
I've had this on on my wishlist for awhile. 81% on Steam, it's a Space
    Sim Action Adventure.

    ------

    Shadow Warrior 2 $2.99 https://www.gog.com/en/game/shadow_warrior_2
This was on the big seller's list on GOG. It's a goofy FPS apparently in the same vein as Borderlands on the humor and weapons. 87% on Steam

    ------

    Wreckfest $2.99 https://www.gog.com/en/game/wreckfest
Also on the big seller's list. A race game with some destruction derby
    stuff. 87% on Steam.

    ------

    Blades of Time $1.99 https://www.gog.com/en/game/blades_of_time
Big seller's list. A 3d Hack and Slash, rated Mature. 81% on Steam.

    ------

    Blades of Darkness $5.99 https://www.gog.com/en/game/blade_of_darkness
    Wishlist. A 3d rpg/action game. 90% on Steam

    Grand total of $19.44

Meh. The 2017 Shadow Warrior was okay as a goofy reboot of the 1997
game. It recognized how silly the whole thing was and embraced it
fully, and the end result was a not-to-special but still enjoyable
    boomer shooter.

"Shadow Warrior 2" started taking itself seriously and also changed
from boomer-shooter to --as mentioned-- something more akin to
Borderlands and was a poorer game for the changes.

    Blades of Time $1.99 https://www.gog.com/en/game/blades_of_time
Big seller's list. A 3d Hack and Slash, rated Mature. 81% on Steam.

I played this one about ten years ago. I'll say this much for it: that play-through resulted in some really nice screenshots that still look impressive to this day.

I was less sanguine about the gameplay. I'll just quote what I wrote
about the game back in 2015:

"A mix of exploration and combat, the game follows a
heroine through a disjointed story and setting with
poorly executed combat and jumping mechanics. The slice-
n-dice combat has its moments, but - except for the
bosses - there isn't much variety to the fights so things
    feel rather humdrum.

"The character design is atrocious, with the female
    characters having characteristics so horrendously
exaggerated that it actually made me embarrassed to play
this game. The whole thing felt like it was written by
a twelve-year old. The exploration was too linear and
the platforming wasn't particularly well animated.
Graphics aside, this just wasn't a good game."

I mean, for $1.99, sure, give it a try. But don't go into it expecting
    any great.

    Blades of Darkness $5.99 https://www.gog.com/en/game/blade_of_darkness
    Wishlist. A 3d rpg/action game. 90% on Steam

    a.k.a. Severence
A fun game, and really impressive visuals for when it was released. It
had some great atmosphere too. The gameplay was less compelling,
thanks largely to some clunky controls and animations. I tried it
again a few years ago and decided that --as much as I loved it back in
the day-- it doesn't really hold up. I'd love a proper remake (not the
remake hack that came out in 2021, but a from-the-ground up rebuilding
    of engine and models).

I'd recommend watching a Long Play on YouTube (or at least some of it)
to get an idea of what the game is like. It's very much a prototype
Dark Souls, except it came out 10 years prior and wasn't as polished.
As much as I'd love to say otherwise, I have a hard time recommending
this anymore. There are just better games nowadays.

(But man, those lighting and water effects? They were AMAZING for when
    the game came out! ;-)
