Look, it's too hot for the usual preliminaries (although, thankfully,
it does seem to be cooling somewhat). Let's just get right to it. It's Thursday, there are free games on Epic: here's what they are:

    #

    * I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream https://store.epicgames.com/p/i-have-no-mouth-and-i-must-scream-95c5c2
Yup, Epic is definitely getting into its "let's fill up
people's library with old DOS games" phase. Hey, I'm not
complaining. And "I Have No Mouth" is probably the best
game based directly on a Harlan Ellison sci-fi novel ever
made. Although if you're not a fan of classic point-n-
click adventures (or Ellison's depressing prose) then you
might not appreciate the game as much.

    * River City Girls 2
    https://store.epicgames.com/p/river-city-girls-2-77af3a
    A very anime-inspired side-scrolling beat-em-up. It's
fine, I guess, especially if you enjoy anime and side-
scrolling beat-em-ups. The visuals are nice and the
soundtrack (what little I heard of it in the trailers)
sounds neat. But the gameplay doesn't look to be
    anything special.

That's it for this week. We'll see what we get in seven days. See you
    all then!

Eh, I will try it one day if ever.

Eh, I will get it but I doubt I will play it. ;P
