• Steam Summer Sale 2026

Start the complaints about how the seasonal sales are not as good as
they used to be! Feel free to re-use comments from previous sales.

I already snagged a couple sub-$5USD games. ("Carrion" and the upgrade-to-definitive-version for "Dishonored").

Sadly, neither of the two games I was hoping to be on sale made the
cut. Namely, the "Gothic Remaster" and that Mechwarrior 5 DLC. Not
that I'm surprised; both are too new to get a price reduction so soon.
But it would have been nice. ;-)

"Metal Wolf Chaos XD" is 50% off, though. I may snag that one.

I bought Bendy and the Dark Revival for $2. Installing it now. Looks
like a hoot! Oh - and the Resident Evil add-on for Dead by Daylight
(which I think I got totally bored of for some reason, but I like RE -
the atmosphere in the DLS looks great).

I don't really see anything else.

By the way Spalls, I bought Hell Is Us for $20 and it is well worth it
for me. Except for stupid puzzles now and then (but most make sense -
puzzles to unlock doors, etc.. where the clues can usually be found in
the area of the puzzle - but I still look them up - There are no
reasons for puzzles in games like this! Take them out of Adventure
games too!! LOL!). It also has that stupid camera movement that is
driving me crazy, like in Crimson Dessert. The graphics are superb
and so is the environment for the most part. Combat is not too
difficult and weird. No mini-games, at least with combat.

I have only played it for an hour and a half Steam time and no doubt
it will get on my nerves soon and I'll quit playing it, but I am
enjoying it more so far than Crimson Dessert (stupid, annoying, puzzle
centric) and Death Stranding 2 (tedious!! Lots of roaming around -
long time between action and destinations. Graphics are great. And a
stupid baby just like that CAPCOM game and I don't understand what the importance it is in this game! Annoying!).

What have you bought lately Spalls? I think it could be a new topic
    for a thread lol.

I am already getting tired of HIU because of the ONE checkpoint save
file - that is it! You have to find the glowing briefcases and click
on it in order to save the game! No manual saves, no quicksaves and
loads. Also, as you have pointed out, no map!
