    It's the start of April!

I found this old article in the archive and thought it was
interesting, and so I decided to share it with the rest of you by
re-posting it here. How far we've come since those long-ago days when
    this was first posted!

    ----

So, hey, let's try something new. I'm think we could start a thread
where we ask about various game-related topics to gauge opinions on
different issues. I'm currently thinking about calling it a 'Consumer
Reaction & Attitude Poll", which I admit is a bit of a mouthful, but
maybe I'll think of something better in the future. Assuming we ever
do another one of these; it probably won't catch on.

But what to ask? Hmmm. Let me think. Aha!

Q: Have you ever answered or responded to an Internet poll?

1: Yes, I always respond to Internet Polls.
2: Yes, I sometimes respond to Internet Polls.
3: No, I never respond to Internet Polls. Except,
wait, I just answered this one. So Yes.
4: Wait, is this a trick question? Yes.
5: (no response) (which is a response of a sort, so Yes)
6: Mu (which is Foreign for "Yes", I think)

    ----

Myself, I don't respond to all Internet polls, but I do to respond to
many of them. After all, how better to feed the computer databases so
they know all our likes and dislikes? With all this information at
hand, you can be trust that the various corporations (and one day the Artificial Intelligences that will wow us with their genius) will
utilize the data in a way to make our experiences on the Internet (and
in life) more enjoyable and efficient. We should all do our part and
expose ourselves to these data-vacuums in order to speed up the
information utopia that the Internet promises to bring to us all. So
answer frequently and honestly; only good will come of it, I'm sure!

    Ncevy Sbbyf!

Bad idea, it's a good way to gather personal info for social engineering attacks.

Google tells me this is the stock abbreviation for Micron Technologies
which is up 8% today! They make RAM. So much for RAM maker stock
    prices dipping.

I also know it from my Egyptology interest when I was a young one, it
    means water.

    I prefer to answer Moo.

Is this your attempt at an April Fools joke? Well at least you made
one. I haven't attempted one in years.

Still. Keep your day job. ;)

I see where you are going with that, and let me put a stop to it right
there! There is no way I'd ever go with anything so coarse and
    sophomoric!!!! ;-)
