    How about we start with a joke this time.

    A pony walks into a bar and whispers his order. Bartender asks, Why
    are you whispering? Pony replies, Im a little horse.

    (I didn't say it would be a /good/ joke. That'll teach you to read
    these intros instead of just jumping down to the games! ;-)

    Speaking of which:

    ----

    * Havendock
    https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/havendock-64983e
    Another in a line of 'cozy' builder games (think Stardew
    Valley genre), except with more Indie-ness. Talk of a lack
    of polish and grindy mechanics make me not want to play
    this, although it being part of the whole 'cozy' genre
    pretty much made that obvious from the start.

    * Hyper Echelon
    https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/hyper-echelon-2d23ff
    A top-down shooter/shmup with retro graphics. Like there
    aren't enough of those already. This one doesn't seem to
    be doing anything special. I'll just stick with Tyrian 2000.

    ----

    Meh. Nothing exciting this week. Do better, Epic. In the meantime,
    another joke:

    A cat walks into a bar and hops up on the counter. The bartender
    laughs and says, Let me guess, you want a Moscow mew? Or a vodcat
    martini? Maybe a purry furry daiquiri?
    The cat scowls. Look, man, Ive been working all day, and Im tired.
    I need a drink, not a silly pun. Now shut up and give me a whisker
    sour.

    Thanks, I'll be here all week; don't forget to tip your waitress.

    I considered looking it but then saw the URL. I don't do Epic.

    I'll take this one. Not sure it has anything going for it, at least
    with old ones there's nostalgia to keep me going a few minutes.

    Geez, tough crowd. Epic has been trying to buy your loyalty for six
    years with free games and this is the result? What do they have to do:
    /NOT/ be litigious douche bags foisting sub-par products on the
    market? You're asking too much! ;-)

    I'd settle for free games that I might actually play.
