I rarely post in this newsgroup, but read it often, and I'm amazed
there are NO new posts since 3/11.
I don't remember going that long without seeing new posts.
I thought my newsreader (Agent 8.0) had a problem but
I hadn't changed any settings, and I did get new
posts in some of the other newsgroups I frequent.
Oh well, guess there's not much to say (although
every Thursday someone posts about the
free games on Epic).

If in doubt, services like newsgrouper.org are really useful in
determining if it's a lack of posts or just your NTTP server acting
up. And newsgrouper shows there have been ~40+ posts made since 11
March. And it is probably more than that, since I'm just counting
posts made to new threads, and there's certain weirdos in this group
who necropost months-old threads for some reasons. ;-)

I'm pretty sure none of the necro-posting articles have anything like
brains involved with them ;-)

(The posts aren't dead! They're merely sleeping!)

Hence why the posters are stumbling around moaning "Brains!"

I'd never moan for brains. Have you ever eaten brain? It's disgusting.
That's why I do all my necroposting quietly.
Thanks to the genuis of Ralph Fox, who is the Agent guru
in the group alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent, who
gave me two suggestions to fix it. The first
suggestion worked.
It is/was the newsserver (I use three of them..two
are block accounts).
