• OT Music: In the beginning there was trance music

Based on music preferences here, this music(instruction?) seems
appropriate. I love this little trance and commentary. I listened to it
over and over for quite some time.

I love the little quotable bits

    "Increase the duck attack"

    "We need more chaos"

The only thing I don't care for is the upturn voice at the end of some
    of the sentences.

That reminds me: time for another visit to https://modarchive.org/ ;-)

To be sure, I don't know what genre any of the songs from there I
listen to fall under trance or electronica or whatever

[I've never been good at music genres: as far as I'm
concerned, if it has a strong beat, it's 'rock' to me,
if it's got lots of violins its classical, if the
trumpet is pre-eminent, its probably jazz, and if its
country I'm not listening to it ;-)]

but a lot of the tunes I've grabbed from there have become some of my favorites. Whenever the 'random algorithm of randomly picking random
songs from my random assortment of random tunes' pulls up one of those
old tracker tunes, I immediately start bouncing to the beat.

Some of my favorites include (but are in no way limited to):

    - Ascent of the Cloud Eagle by Necros https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_player&query=34073

    - Guitar Slinger by jogeir-liljedahl https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_player&query=42560

    - Wanderlust by Leviathan https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_player&query=47096

This lady's videos are really cool, just listening to her think on the
fly while building the music track is pretty fascinating. I'm listening to
a lecture series on Bach where the lecturer talks about how he built his pieces that reminds me of this lady's videos
