    We've recently experienced this same problem on two separate servers
    after updating them to 9.16.2

    May 15 20:10:21 a named[31391]: general: name.c:1738: INSIST(nlabels =3D=3D=

    name->labels) failed
    May 15 20:10:21 a named[31391]: general: exiting (due to assertion failur=
    e)
    May 15 20:11:39 a systemd[1]: named-chroot.service: main process exited, code=3Dkilled, status=3D6/ABRT
    May 15 20:11:39 a systemd[1]: Unit named-chroot.service entered failed
    state.

    This is on CentOS 7.8.2003 in our cases.=C2=A0 We updated to that version=
    on
    April 28th across our cluster, so it wasn't immediate.=C2=A0 The first se=
    rver
    had a problem May 15th at 8:11 PM Pacific time, the second server May
    18th at 1:39 AM Pacific time.

    Unfortunately, we still need usable coredump with debugging symbols (the sym= bols could be external)

    Just a staring into the code hasn=E2=80=99t brought anything fruitful, unfor= tunately, and believe me, we tried.
