• Iomega parallel Zip100 drive's Guest driver: memory issue

    Hi! I have a parallel Iomega Zip100 drive on a Win98 computer. I also have special configuration to network it to a DOS/Win3.1 laptop to act as extra drive space. Now, the latter reports a memory hole between the end of the Guest driver and the beginning of the ASPIPPM1.SYS driver loaded by the Guest driver. I tried to load the Guest driver high,

    Sorry, pressed the wrong button. :(
    As I was saying, I tried to load the Guest driver high, and it wouldn't. Then I tried to manually load the ASPIPPM1.SYS driver in CONFIG.SYS, but it reported no connection. I want more memory for other purposes. :\
    I could use the PalmZip driver, but it is unreliable: it works sometimes but not always. I have it working on the DOS laptop, and it doesn't always work. :(
