  • How does the Android package manager install split APK bundles

    The more I look at split APKs, the more confused I am about how it works.

    If we unzip a bundle of split APKs & tap on any one apk, the Android
    package manager GUI fails 'cuz it doesn't have the concept of a collection.

    We need a special third-party tool to install a collection of split APKs.
    a. SAI
    b. Muntashirakon
    c. adb

    But how does the Google Play Store (or Aurora) install the splits then?
