    unmoderated usenet newsgroups are still useful as the public repository
    for lurkers and researchers, to that extent kudos to nntp server admins
    for collectively sustaining this internet-accessible plain text library,
    but any conversation between non-robot participants is a million-to-one



    Does the source of this information have any proof of this?

    I'm not buying it. If you look at the history and the personalities and some of the groups, some of these people have been around for quite a number of years. Hard to believe that they are chat bots.

    Now if you're talking about Reddit, yes maybe that's a different story.
