    Anyone else finding NewPipe version 0.27.0 stopped working yesterday?

    UPDATE:

    A couple days after Google implemented login requirements to block bots,
    the NewPipe team introduced 0.27.1 which worked fine until a few days ago.
    <https://newpipe.net/#download>

    Then for a day or two NewPipe stopped in the middle of a video, where I
    noticed a couple of days ago version 0.27.2 was available for download.
    <https://archive.newpipe.net/fdroid/repo/NewPipe_v0.27.2.apk>

    That version has been working fine for me.

    Other sugestions are YouTube Vanced, Revanced, and Smart Tube, but I prefer >> NewPipe overall as it's definitely in the top ten FOSS Android apps to use!

    Try pipepipe?

    https://f-droid.org/en/packages/InfinityLoop1309.NewPipeEnhanced/

    I switched from newpipe, and it seems OK. Only problem I've
    encountered are occasional playback stops when switching
    networks. Gives a network error, so as best I can tell it involves a
    rough hand off from one network to another. For me, mostly on wifi, or
    wifi to cellular. My solution so far is to switch to celluar network
    before starting.

    Interesting this PipePipe enhanced NewPipe enhanced YouTube client APK.

    I'm using NewPipe 0.27.2 which has that same issue if you change networks,
    it crashes but it recovers pretty quickly with a kill and restart step.

    I installed PipPipe 3.7.0 from F-Droid and upon first inspection it looks exactly like NewPipe does, even down to the icons and color schemes.

    <https://f-droid.org/repo/InfinityLoop1309.NewPipeEnhanced_105604.apk>
    Name: InfinityLoop1309.NewPipeEnhanced_105604.apk

    Thanks for letting me know about this app, which, if it works at least as
    well as NewPipe does to replace the YouTube client, then it's a keeper!
