Fantastic. I run the MXLinux distro myself, and suffice to say, screen mirroring to the Roku has been a bit of a pita.

So far, Ubuntu has been surprisingly good for me. As a result, I don't
mind trying it out in every way to see if it can make other people who
are apprehensive about using Linux try it out as well. I'm sure that it mirrors fine though, mostly because it seems to work with my Android
TVs.

I'm suspecting it'll chat without any problems to your Roku.
