I was happy with Win11 recently, but I wasn't shocked that it started
getting BSODs (which aren't blue anymore, but same thing) even though
the device isn't very old. It was just stressing its little CPU too
hard. I'd rather still be running Win11, but it's nice that Debian
exists as an alternative, one that can handle lower-power devices.

more and more resources and the browser require more and more

the difference in requirement is more and more dependent on the
applications running on the OS than on the OS themselves.

And it's the same for everything. Thirty years ago, the videos where
640x480, now they are full HD. It requires more ressources for looking
at a video actually than thirty years before because people want nice
videos to look at. It's independent of the underlying OS.

Because with Ubuntu, you don't have to use gnome with full 3D effects,
you can choose light VM (well not you who pretend one can't configure
Ubuntu, with a little bigger brain than yours can). But in the end it
will help to have a better experience with your computer, but it wont be
able to surf a very heavy website easily.
