No. Not at all. Merely noting your logic is faulty. And it is.

You have a clear agenda to try to make Apple look bad... but it backfires. If the worst you can find is dependent on your faulty logic, that suggests even Apple's biggest detractors can't really find really bad stuff.

No, Macs are targeted for work, not play.

So, more for corporate use than a general home/family PC?

I thought MacOS famously had terrible game support for common games.
Plus, its nearly impossible to install a Mac system on non-Mac
hardware, whereas Linux is (relatively) easy to install.

You really missed the point badly. Mac users don't spend hours playing computer games. We socialize with other people instead of sitting at a computer trying to rack up game points.

Admittedly, Mac users seem to be using their computers as creative tools rather than a drunk friend they constantly have to try to reason with.

This all ignores that what is considered "fun" is a deeply personal
    definition.

We are specifically talking about the fun to be had with using a
computer. Games are not exclusively what that is about, but it is a
big part of it. And Steam has established itself as the sine qua non
    of PC gaming.

Even then, gaming is only one use, and it takes up time that could be
used for other activities. The fact that computer gaming is such a big
thing says nothing good about where society is headed.

I actually agree with you with the last part. While gaming has spared me
from the extremes of any depression I might have faced in my youth by distracting me, there is no doubt that it distracted me from putting as
much effort into my studies as I could have. The fact that it has become
so expected of men to game is troubling.

And then there is litRPG... I couldn't get into that genre. Anna Mocikat
has a cyberpunk series, 'Behind Blue Eyes' that I enjoyed. 'Cybersquad' is sort of a spin off where game testers are troubleshooting a 'Behind Blue
Eyes' game that gets into game mechanics but that's a little different.
