  • ANNOUNCE: TclTLS 2.0.1 Release

    This is the release of v2.0.1 of the TclTLS package. It is a bug-fix
    release with added support for OpenSSL v4.0.


    Release Notes:

    - Added support for OpenSSL 4.0. Note: OpenSSL 4.0 does not support SSLv3.
    - Updated to latest TEA config
    - Restored previous method for setting default TLS protocol versions.
    - Resolved issue with I/O after channel close causing core dump or lock-ups.
    - Fixed issue with viewing of local certificate details.
    - Makefile improvements

    Known Issues:

    - Several BadSSL test cases may fail due to web site availability
    and certification expiration.


    Tested with:

    TCL 8.6.14, 9.0.3, and 9.0.4
    OpenSSL 1.1.1w, 3.0.21, 3.5.7, 3.6.3, and 4.0.1.
    Windows 7, Windows 10, Msys64, OpenSuSE Linux Leap 16.0, and FreeBSD
