I would like that too. In addition to my own personal struggles, one
thing that forces me to postpone my little projects is a bug in the text widget that I believe was fixed in the 8.6 branch (I filed the bug
report myself actually) and I assume to be fixed in the 9.0 branch.
My applications don't work well with that bug. I visit the FreeWrap page
on Sourceforge every once in a while, hoping to find an updated version.
