Welcome (back?) to War Ensemble BBS!
Since 1994 this BBS has been the bane of some people's existence and brought much enjoyment to many others via one of its many incarnations. I am working diligently to return it to a state of quasi-prominence.
My primary task over the past couple weeks, since I decided to try and revive this behemoth, has been trying to dig up some of the old ANSI artwork that was done for us. Unfortunately, it seems to have been lost to the ravages of time and is nowhere to be found. Apparently, the old saying that "once it is on the Internet, it is there forever" isn't entirely true.
So, as of today I"m shifting focus. I'm going to get some Door Games online, I'm going to fill some of the file-bases, and I"m going to look into getting hooked back up into various message networks. You'll have to suffer with "cookie cutter" menus for the time being, and I apologize for that. One of War Ensemble's biggest draws was its unique look.
For those who are interested, I set up another message group called "War Ensemble - The Revivening" where I plan to post little changes and things that I've added. Feel free to ask questions or offer suggestions there while we rebuild!
