"Some left me. Some got left behind. And some...not many, but...some
    died."

I have a feeling all three are going to apply to Amy and Rory in "The
Angels Take Manhattan". No matter what you feel about them and their
unique daughter as characters, you have to admit Moffat has been
trying to break Doctor Who formula through them and Eleventh Doctor's interactions with them, while still remaining an Ascended Fanboy in
    other ways.

I'd explain why I think all three might apply, but one, I don't want
to spoil anything for people who want to just react to what happens in
the show and two, everybody else should be able to figure it out based
on what the titular villains do when they don't have access to
spaceship drives or cracks in time, and what Amy and Rory want most in
life as revealed last series finale and this series premiere.

The trouble with having all the publicity about someone leaving the show is
that you know which episode is the last, and you know which villains are in it.
Since they are enemies who have been dealt with previously we all know
some of the things they are likely to do.
If Amy gets turned into an angel I shall be very disappointed. It is too obvious.
Moffat can do better than that
