    1) Kirk didn't seek out any woman in Naked Time. Even while infected,
he's inventing excuses to avoid women.

    2) Spock did not seek the company of any woman while infected.

That is not unusual for either of them. You see them avoiding women in
Mudd's Women, too, when they supposedly shouldn't have been able to help themselves.

I could go on. I could list example after example...oh wait, I already
did. Hundreds of times. Dozens of examples, hundreds of times.

If you'd like to see them all again, just ask.

    OK,

    1) Uhura in Mantrap wasn't drunk
    2) Chapel in Naked Time wasn't drunk
    3) Once Spock was "infected" in Naked Time he did not go running back
to Chapel. In fact, he ran from everyone and hid. The scene with him
and Kirk occurs when Kirk chases him down.
    4) Kirk didn't chase Rand down.

    Check, and mate.

I sure hope you don't play chess for money.

So unless people are running around grabbing at each others genitals,...they they are gay ?
You must have some WILD friends.

Both Kirk and Spock are Starfleet officers. Professionals. The best of the best. They have a strong will and a great deal of self-discipline.

    I guess that would explain/excuse Spock/Uhura....

Don't get me wrong about Spock/Uhura.

    1) Uhura is lovely and 100% deserving
    2) Spock and Uhura were shown in classic TOS to be fond of one another.
    3) If Spock/Uhura had already been established in TOS, or in the
TOS-crew movies, I would be OK with it.

    BUT!

Keep in mind that the new Star Trek takes place in an alternate
universe from the original which the creative team plenty of room to
play around with the characters and storylines.

    1) Neither Spock, nor Uhura were ever depicted as the type to be openly >>affectionate with anybody, ever!

Both Spock and Uhura were mature professionals with well established Starfleet careers in the original Star Trek. In the new Trek, Spock
and Uhura are fresh out of the Academy cadets. (OK, Spock is a 'grad
student' or whatever the Starfleet equivalent is called.) So they are
at an age when people are more likely to be given to open displays of affection even if they become more reserved later in life.

    2) Uhura's dream man is a handsome black man of her own species.
    [Refer: Mantrap]

That doesn't mean she wouldn't also be open to a relationship with pasty-faced Vulcan. How many of us ever actually meet our dream man or
    woman?

    3) Spock rejected Uhura [Mantrap], rejected Chapel [Naked Time, Amok >>Time], and generally isn't interested in women at all. The times when
he actually showed interest in a woman, he was drugged, or in some other >>way clearly not himself.

    http://www.allyourtrekarebelongto.us/mantrap.htm

He's older and more heavily disciplined. The new Spock has not had the
Vulcan stick up his ass fully tightened. And given that at this point
in his life, the new Spock is still pulling away from Vulcan and its traditions, breaking off from the Vulcan seven-year cycle with a human
female is likely to appeal to him now.

Plus there is the shock of the destruction of Vulcan.
If original Spock was shaken by the death of over 400 Vulcan on board the Intrepid, imagine what happens to a young Spock getting the death of the
whole world of Vulcan (AND his mom) straight in the face.

BTW, I still think Lucas had Spock in mind when he thought up Obi Wan
feeling the death of Alderaan. :-)

Apparently you think they never studied history then.
...And learned what getting horny while on the job did to a 20th century American President named Kleen-ton I think,....darn good reason to reign in the hormones while on duty.

Look,...your whole story seems to be that Spock and Kirk didn't jump on the bones (no pun intended) of anything wearing a skirt. That really is no proof they were gay.

Of course if you have SOMETHING about them and Sulu going at it in a hot and heavy threesome,....that might be different.
    ....But you don't.
