BBC One is running a Voyager Marathon over the next couple of days. Though
not my favorite Star Trek, In fact I place it on the bottom of my "Star Trek Ratings" it is good to see again. It has been missing from the Trek line ups that are shown on TV. (Also Deep Space Nine, but I have that on DVD).
What I did not like about Voyager was the "obsession" with the Kazon. They were suppossed to be a race with limited technology and a small empire but they spent, what Three Years or more trying to get our of their area of space. Also the obsession with Seska, not really my favorite caracter, she beams out I believe in Episode 11 and hants them for what seems an eternity along with the Kazon. I think the series got better when Seven of Nine came about.
I also had a problem with the way the whole series ended. I though that the ending was just not done right and the whole story could have had a better
end to it. The way some of the caracters left, left me with a bad taste in my mouth. One thing that stuck with me was how even after being missing for so long in the Delta Quadarant Paris was visible on the screen and his father
was on the other end and there was not even an attempt to say "hello welcome back son" or what ever, it was like he just left "yesterday". I thougth that it was one of the poorest ends to a series that I've ever seen.
