has anyone had any problems with upgrading? I cannot get gamma2 to upgrade
to SP3. The date of the original executables is appropriate.

I had tons of issues upgrading. I actually had to set my VMs clock back to, what was it, August 8th, 1998? And the time had to be around 2-4am if I remember right. And not only that, I think I had to wait until the system clock was set for then to unzip it.

Yeah, it was a bitch to upgrade. No idea why they would do something like that, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

It worked like a charm back then! I dunno why all the troubles but it's
easier to look back than forward.

I see a couple folks getting a TG board up and running. Anyone there yet? I'm ready if you are.

Sorry for the seriously late reply, but mine is almost done. Just a few more menus and the doors setup, and I'm ready Freddy.

Biggest issue for me was getting some kind of telnet setup working stably. GameSrv and Net2BBS work, but run choppy.

Sounds good. I haven't visited a TG board in longer than I can remember. I'll add the address in your origin to my hitlist, thanks.

I tried to get TG telnetable 15 - 20 years ago with the same result. I telneted into my board but it was choppy and I never went live with it. Others did although I don't know how they did it. I would have continued to work on it but time wasn't on my side.

Like I said, it's not 100% yet. Account creation is turned off, but Guest access is still on.

Yeah. NetSerial with NetFoss were nice and quick, but it would cause all
to crash eventually. Not sure if it was specifically TG that was doing it or not, but it gave me serious sad face. So I'll probably have to deal with
    this setup.

And, hey, the slow screen output and choppiness really does kind of emulate that old school feel, so I guess that's a plus. =)

What telnet address does it use? :)

It might have closed up shop sometime in 2015? ..dead echo since then (:

It may have.. I have had this visit with Telegard in the back of my mind but there always seem to be things on the go here.

I did run Telgard for quite a while and I loved it and wanted to have a look. One day when I have time I will take a look.. maybe! :)
