    Although I have not checked to see if it works with the
    virtual modem in DOSBox; but it works fine with the
    NetSerial virtual modem.

    I can confirm that Terminate (and probably others) works ok with the DOSBox 0.74 virtual modem. Just put something like:

    =============================
    [serial]
    serial2=modem listenport:5002
    =============================

    in "dosbox.conf".

    Works for me.

    Terminate 5.00 will work in DOSBox 0.74 under Windows 7 64-bit
    with a virtual modem like NetSerial. This is the current setup I am
    using right now to reply to your message

    It was just easier for us to make a dual boot system.

    Well since I got it figured out I'd don't need to get into that.

    In the long term as a desktop user, you might find that running everything in once place is easier.

    Dual booting is easy in the sense that you don't have to worry about extra work - but you are wasting the power of your PC by running an obsolete operating system natively on new hardware.

    Yeah but it sounds like you have to go through dual booting hassles.

    If your software works in an emulator or virtual machine, then you will wonder why you bothered with dual booting. Using emulation and/or VMs provides significant benefits and convenience.
