    is it normal when you are on using petscii for it to say that file.asc is missing infinity times when you use bbs.menu to load
    modified renegades command shell, and i was being a bit snarky, it's only like 130 times or so that it says the error, then it resumes, just feels like more on StrikeTerm (c64).
    I suspect there's an issue with your modified command shell, not Synchronet. But if you belive otherwise, please provide more details.

    file missing? client online? what more details?

    I made a check to see if they have ansi, if not, it doesnt run the advert/image.. fixed.

    The source code for the shell in question. The relevant log messages (if any).
