    Hello Rudi!

09 Apr 15 10:16, you wrote to all:

It's understandable though, they need to make money and they can't do it supporting the end user, Andriod and apple have a hold on the market. ;)

In the end it doen't affect me very much, I like having a keyboard, but
I have accepted I need to move with the times and get a touch screen only device and though I hate google and Android, I have accepted the fact I
will need to use one for work anyway. (Custom software being written for
us will run on Andriod only)

    Hi Guys,

Today i get a email from the BlackBerry Developers portal.

The next devices will no longer get firmware updates.

    1.Q5
    2.Z10
    3.Z30

The 10.3.1 will be the lasted update for that device's i have read.

BlackBerry is going take some other way like i read on the email and the like to only support business devices like to PassPort and the newer that will
    come out.

Most of the people that use BlackBerry are business people and not the small users.

I dont think this is good news becoss the will loss some small users on that way.

Especially bad news, because a lot of business users DO use the Z30, and even the Z10. The Passport is too big for regular use in my opinion.

    Hi Shawn,

It's understandable though, they need to make money and they can't do
it supporting the end user, Andriod and apple have a hold on the market.

I some way i understand BlackBerry the one not go the way with Andriod or
    Apple as i understand them.

I hate personaly Apple and Andriod, becoss Apple only like to see $$$ and Andriod is not safe and it takes a lot of personal info about a user and it's so easy to hack. I dont like to code software for Andriod in any way i have port Raptor to Andriod but i never wil release it in any way.

In the end it doen't affect me very much, I like having a keyboard, but I have accepted I need to move with the times and get a touch screen only device and though I hate google and Android, I have accepted the fact I will need to use one for work anyway. (Custom software being written for us will run on Andriod only)

I understand what you mean, any way a PassPort is not complete a full touch phone it has also a small keyboard ;)

Then i understand also BlackBerry in some way in my case like Raptor it takes
a lot of CPU and memmory as you know, i have also a close contact with the firmware coders on BlackBerry and also there when the need to add news things on the Firmware also that is going in the same way it will be get bigger take more CPU and memmore and older devices can not run it anymore what i
understand that's the normoly way also.

It's not that BlackBerry dont like to support older devices the problem is
    what i explane above.

The make good money as you mebay know the have a billion contact with Samsung the Samsung S5 uses the BlackBerry security software in it, also the have new car software QNX and also the have some big contract with a lot of car
companys so the are diong good.

I like to new LEAF BlackBerry it's a cheap device and has a good CPU and memmory. I have it also here...

Yes but it's a Blackberry. THey have let me down for the last time.

I like to new LEAF BlackBerry it's a cheap device and has a good CPU and memmory. I have it also here...

That's good. The Q5 will be my last. As I said, I'm not going to
fight work anymore I'm just going to accept it and use the one Andriod
device. Not sure on the timeline, as it's up to the manager. ;)

Especially bad news, because a lot of business users DO use the Z30, and even the Z10. The Passport is too big for regular use in my opinion.

For me personal i love the Passport better then a Z30 becoss it's so fast and
i love that. I use my Passport for my daily job as i'm a ICT'er and on my Passport i can login on a other PC without any problem of the power hi has
when i use my Z30 i can do that also but it's going verry slow...

BlackBerry have ask developers what the think about that i told them if possible support all devices, so if there are mote developers will say the
    same there is a chance.
