benny, you know better than to respond to obvious spam, sir... the IPs those posts have appeared from are now blocked at my mail filter... they were coming in directly to my mail server instead of from the os2user group on yahoo... the giveaway is in the control lines... you might look at them in the future ;)

FWIW: your post and this one will not be crossing the gateway and being sent to the internet...

I did not see any "control lines" when the message made it here, FWIW.

they are the standard FTN hidden control lines, mike... unfortunately, i've found that golded+ doesn't display all of them for some reason... the user-agent one was specifically not shown when i was looking but it is shown in the details of the posts... in any case, the butthead sending them is connecting directly to my SMTP server and attempting to forge their address as "mail.com"... the filters have been updated and will continue to be updated...
