• Java For OS/2

From Mike Luther@1:2320/100 to All on Fri Apr 7 15:55:00 2017
    Howdy folks!

For serious other reasons the latest OS/2 computers I have are still the PS/2 4.52 US version with the kernel level 14.104a and fixpack level of FixPack #5 US (XR0C0005). Yes I have kept up as best I can with the Voice and other seriously important improvements of OS/2 but as yet have not had the time and money to move forward to what I really intend to do as us serious OS/2 folks do.

My question is, what is the latest version of JAVA that can be used with the above OS/2 system grouping? The JAVA I have used very well until the last week

or so for everything has been the 1.42 version with the special system utility install that works with it just fine.

About a couple of weeks ago the www.beforeitsnews.com site went into a new version of their 'advertisement' tool for their site that will not work with the above group of stuff here apparently because the JAVA operation they have moved to locks up and won't let me go forward after it starts.

Any comments that might help me without moving forward at this time into obviously important OS/2 of the future just yet for MikeyDog here?

    Grin ..

Mike Luther as FidoNet 1:117/100 boss doggy still.

Well yes somewhere in the pile of computers but in the ones right here at the 'homerun' address, no.

If you would forward the addresses to me even by internet mail if you don't want to do it here I would appreciate it.
