Nick has indicated to me he is ready to take this a step further so he
was notified in netmail we are "go" to start/re-start proper management
of the fidonet.org website as well as the DNS-tables etc etc ...

    I am keen to help.

What I **really** hope we can do is work collectively together on updating the content on this domain and hopefully work with others to do the same
across other websites that Google reveals as sources of information about Fidonet.

It's a great opportunity to showcase Fidonet to a new generation of people
and alert them to all the cool things this style of tech/comms can offer.

My 2 glass is half full cents :)

    Best, Paul

I'm certainly interested in seeing more being done with the domain and the website for it, so I'll be following what happen with it...

    Hello Ward!

26 Sep 15 04:57, you wrote to all:

There are continually things coming up, but finally for this year (I think) I'm done with my BSA-involvement.

    Ward,

I have two cousins who are recent Eagle scounts and they both were very intrigued that you would travel so far to work with them. They told me that it

is hard enough to get people to volunteer here in their hometown much less come

from halfway around the world to volunteer. It speaks volumes about your character.

I personally thank you for it... wish next year you might consider coming a bit

south... we have some awesome places to canoe in Tennessee and Kentucky.

As for fidonet.org... I'm all for seeing it restored. Thank you guys for re-obtaining it and getting it going again.

    Allen
