    Hello Zazz,

    Where are they stored?

    Which quotes do you mean?

If you are talking about taglines in messages they are in taglines.dat in your data directory.

    Yes.

The quotes come from quotes.dat in data directory. They are basically separated by * on an otherwise blank line. The first line is a * then each is separated by a *.

Its not really documented because I was planning to redo it in A48 but I completely forgot.

    For example:

    *
This is sample Mystic BBS quote #1.
    *
This is sample Mystic BBS quote #2.
    *
This is sample Mystic BBS quote #3.

The taglines aren't new with this version of Mystic, so it would have been an upgrade from previous Mystic. Here were the upgrade instructions. If you are using the default message editor template you can follow these to reinstall the editor and taglines from the A48 installer:

    - If you use the default msg_editor.ini then you should replace it with the
new one, otherwise refer to the What's New and the new default template
for how to upgrade it to support Tagline changes. You can replace the
    default like this:

    install extract msg_editor.ini c:\mystic\themes\default\text

    - You will need to install the new Taglines template and default Taglines
    database:

    install extract taglines.ans c:\mystic\themes\default\text
    install extract taglines.ini c:\mystic\themes\default\text
    install extract taglines.dat c:\mystic\data

It is also recommended that you go into System Configuration > New User
Settings 2 and set "Taglines" to On so new users will default to having
Taglines enabled if you wish them to (or set to Off if you want them off
    by default).

... Don't diet, download a virus to remove the FAT.
