• Teen "cult movies"

From Nick Andre@1:229/426 to All on Wed Sep 26 00:25:55 2018
Alright, ones that are repeat-viewing in this household:

    - Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's dead
    - Honey I shrunk the Kids
    - Honey I Blew up the Kid (an homage to the 50ft Tall Woman, Roger?)
    - Madhouse (1990)
    - The Breakfast Club (obviously)
    - The Blob (1988)
    - Who Framed Roger Rabbit
    - Say Anything
    - Tremors

    I'm sure there's plenty others I'm forgetting.

    -Ferris Bueller's Day Off
-The Goonies (More childhood than teenagehood really)
    -Wayne's World
    -Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

and at least a hundred more

    Heathers.
    Pump up the volume.
    Over the Edge.
    The Outsiders.

And yes, probably a hundred more, especially ones from the 80's with the amusing emphasis on hiring 20-somethings/30-somethings to portray teenagers.

    Receeding hairlines and all...

I first saw it late one night on a local New Orleans TV station (without the cursing), so I bought it. I really liked it, although the book was boring.

Wow, the book being worse than the movie, that's rare!

Maybe I'll remember after I read all this mail.... again!
