I heard one all wise and knowing elite say on tv a while back "if we
don't allow them (illegals) into the country, who's going to clean our toilets?"
I thought "I got a suggestion for ya".
I think we're thinking of the same suggestion. . . hehh. . .
Those voting against the "ilegals" are doing grwat -- they use them for cheap(beliow legal minwage) in their farms or estates, then make a big noise against them to distract everyone, & to up the price on them for when they're through with the current batch.
Be nice if we had a check list of yes/no where our tax money is spent.
I doubt those guys in DC or Ottawa would honour it.
Nope --for one thing, they'd be out on their collective benchwarmers first thing!
I say there's a core set of costs that are must haves for everyone to participate in, federally, (national defense, of course, & minimally required amnounts to operate the government itself *sigh*, & others); let's vote on therest of where our money goes.
& for rasises for pols -- they can propose a raise bill, but it only goes after the next election, so if it's a bad move, the voters can directly respond to it.
I mean, for you & me, raises go with merits & proven value to the boss. Why should these yutzes be excepted?
& even if I did lose some thing, I'm pretty darn sure nobody alive today was
directly responsible!

People are responsible for their own actions, not their ancestors.

Should we hold people responsible for their grandparents actions? G-G-grandparents and on back to Adam and Eve? At what point is it said "Ok, nothing past that date is important"?
That's wshen I finally bega to become a proper adult, when I realized that if I could blame my tendencies & troubles on my dad, I must grant him the same privilege & then I had to think of how far back that might go. Then I realized it's simpler to man up & take personal responsibilty -- If I knew poker then as I do now, I'd decide that I'm going to win even with crumby hands dealt to me. (I do all the time)
I made someone fold 3 aces one time, & I had far less (only I knew this for sure) in a live game a bunch of years ago -- fun stuff & a clear lesson in life.

They like to take the worst of anything and make it seem everyone
believes that.
& if they can';t find any, they're not averse to making some thing up out of whole cloth, or to manipulate people or events so as to make them more newsworthy.
You watch a "Live" newscast on tv -- do you know 100% for sure when & where each block of video was recorded, or even created in a studio?
They've madesome errors, like people pointing out how the big crowd had du8plicate groups of people pasted in here & there. Or when shadows indicate the stated time is incorrect. It's harder to pull it off now,m with millions the world over easily seeing it via internet & analyzing it with new tools daily. . .

And I think social media is to blame for a lot.
At one time you had a crackpot with some crazy idea and people laughed
at them or ignored them. Today someone writes a crazy tweet and all these people agree. Heaven help us if we have actually that many crazy people running around.

I've run into a few dislikeable people in my day on all sides, but they
are just one and not the whole lot.
But the vast majority, 95 per cent or more plus are normal people.
Opinions sure, but not nut jobs.
Yup, I've talked with those with wild opinions both left & right of me, & even more or less in my wedge; I mentally shrug & move on as quickly as I can extricate myself without setting them off.
I do remind some people, as needed, that they do NOT speak for "all" they claim to speak for. Opinons are like rectums(recta?) -- everyone has one, but only the hot wind output of your own don't stink.
