    you have hubs and and you have leaf nodes... the leaf nodes remove dead echos... the hubs remove dead echos... some hubs are connected to other hubs for ALL echos... even new ones being newly created... you send a post in a dead
    echo that doesn't exist and it is automatically (re)created on upstream systems... this (re)creation continues on up and down the distribution stream... some hubs or leafs do not allow auto-area-creation... some do allow it... then you end up with separated puddles of systems with a dead echo that was removed and then added back because someone posted a silly link test message in it...

    why blame me ?

    see above... every time you do this, you reset the counter on dead echos... it is not a GoodThing<tm>...
