BBSing and ham radio do seem to have a strong correlation at times.

y much shut everything down. People in the Dallas area don't know how to drive
roperly in rain, let alone snow and ice, plus we don't have the infrastructure
o properly cope with it. Just not used to that weather.
I do have a generator now, but that's not likely to keep the internet going si
e it's no longer over copper, so getting some sort of ham based text communica
on might be on my todo list eventually.
