• FroDo for Linux

From Charles Stephenson@1:226/17 to All on Sat Jan 5 21:05:10 2019
Just curious, has anyone attempted to port FroDo to linux? It's a heck of a program to not be on linux too!

    Perfect!

If you want to connect another FD/2, you may try 2:221/360 at rbb.bbs.fi port 32 :)

He's been at it for about ten years now, give or take, so I wouldn't hold my breath just yet but the man is as stubborn as they come so I trust we will get a Linux version of FD sooner or later. :)

    Great! I'll keep ya posted!

I'm putting it on the backburner for a minute, I have to finish my other BBS projects I already started, but I was so excited to get it running, I stopped everything! LOL

I AM having trouble trying to get VM out of full-sreen mode on my laptop... Regards,

Yep, I've read him here recently (well, in the last year anyway).

    Yes he is.

Well, currently his FD is down, I haven't been able to connect him since last wednesday.

he was connected to my system until Hurricane Florence came through here... his
address is 2:20/4609 so look in the seenby lines for "20/4609" or just "4609" if there are other 2:20 systems carrying the area...

Well, that "anyone" would have to be me :-)

Linux is one of the primary platform(s) I would like to port FD to. The only two problems I'm having at the moment is "life" and "time".
