Hello.
I was cleaning my computers' keyboards and desk earlier, and I
accidently shut down and rebooted my locked Windows XP Pro SP3 from its keyboard input. I assume it is because of the turn off option. Is there
a way to remove/disable it?
Thank you in advance. :)

I remember doing that, often, but it has been long since I last set
up an XP system from scratch. I can't remember how I did it, before, but looking at my current XP setup, I find "Shutdown: Allow system to be
shut down without having to log on" in Administrative Tools -> Local
Security Policy -> Local Policies -> Security Options. Of course on my
XP system it is set to Disabled, because I always disabled it on the
systems I set up, to avoid the exact scenario you describe. :) Sorry I
can't remember if this is the only way to do it, or if there was
something easier I did.
