    that's specific to the program you are running... you need to look there (HPT) instead of general DOS stuffs...

    I have't this problem too. Try use 7zip for console.

    Yes, that HPT could not spawn the decompressing process.

    As already written elsewhere try to decompress a newly arrived packet by hand, and see what happens.
    Or simply tell your link to send uncompressed packets.
