    Hello All!

My system shows both files last recorded here to be early 2023 so it is possible my system might be behind.

Can anyone advise lasted date of both program archives please, JIC.

    Pretty questionable "logic" there...

Couldn't it be that both systems are behind?

I mean.... why not check the source of the files and see what that says,
and perhaps download a newer version?

    Maybe here: https://fido-z1.darkrealms.ca/dbridge.htm

Wow, look! You're both up to date, without any guessing or assumptions!

    You're welcome.

3.11 helped me usher DB into the IP-world when no-one bothered about it (not even Roger Nelson). I had an IP-capable machine which had Binkd and which networked to another DOS-machine with Win 3.11 and DB ... I think 1.85 ... the last version prior to the Y2K-version because thatone sucked royally.

And that was "it" until you took it over and figured some stuff out ... and I could cut-out one machine drastically dropping the electricity bill plus the need to cool-down the Fido-room.

Around that time I think I also discovered I had no PSTN-calls anymore so dropped the line and it took about 10 years for Bart Verhaeghe in 2016 to figure it out and run to Janis to tell her in hopes she would raise hell ... which she didn't ... and Bartje had to seek some other navel-staring subject.
