And yes, that was the official name for it, "itchy scar"... there was some greek name but that is the exact literal translation... :)
You wonder why they spent all that money and time to go to medical
school, for "such a diagnosis". Janice had a good idea of what the
doctor was talking about, but a lot of people would prefer "it be in layman's terms"...basically, you have to cater to the "lowest common denominator".
The sad thing about that is a story I saw where these "athletes"
basically "play like men" on the field, basketball court, etc. --
but they can barely read or write. One student athlete at the
University Of Arkansas at Fayetteville 20 years ago said "he was
recruited to go play basketball, not go to class". And, at the
time, the graduation percentage of student athletes was ZERO!!
It seems that it doesn't matter what the coaches or athletes moral
life, study habits, etc. are. As long as they can win games, sell
tickets, and bring in money to the organization (collegiate or
pro), that's all that matters.
Former University Of Miami quarterback Ken Dorsey graduated with a
DOUBLE Business Major...in his words "in case football doesn't work
out".
While I'm on the DayQuil and NyQuil, I'm holding off the rest of the regular prescriptions, until I see the doctor in a few days, to see
what she says. I just don't want this to go into pneumonia.
I hope you are feeling better by now... Pneumonia's no fun either... Keep hydrated...

I'm drinking a lot of non-caffeinated beverages (it's rare I drink a Coca-Cola anymore). I also found out that if one has hypertension
(high blood pressure), that they should NOT take decongestants.
When I went out to the local Pizza Hut yesterday for their lunch
buffet (pizza and a nice salad), I drank 4 glasses of Sierra Mist
(they have Pepsi products). When I told the waitress that I was "into heavy drinking", she quipped "I'm going to call the cops on you". <G>
The guy replies "Tonight...I was the designated decoy". <BG>
Hot spicy foods (think mustard, curry, hot peppers), and nice hot
chicken soup, do wonders for congestion... :) And help bring down
blood pressure, as well... :)
As long as you don't stagger out of there, tipsy, you should be ok...
I think you told that one over in MEMORIES not that long ago... or was
it Joe that told it there...? Familiar, anyway.... ;)

I never was much for hot, spicy cuisine...although Janice was. :)
I'm on medicine for high blood pressure, though. The waterless
vaporizer I got last week with those Vicks filters has done wonders.
I'm much better today than I was this time last week...although I'll likely still have the hacking cough for another month.
Janice would eat her whole meal, then would consume her beverage to
"fill up the nooks and crannies". Not me...I've got to have a beverage when I eat.
... Jokes about German sausage are the wurst.
