It was gated I think from the Usenet group. I could turn that back on if you wanted? What are the rules for the echoarea?

Just looking at this usenet group (I can access it) the level of posting to
it is rather low. Probably about 20 topics across 2014 and no posts so far in 2015.

I can gate this in/out of this echoarea if you would like but the traffic
will be low. Let me know.

The echoarea I would like to bring back and gate the usenet group (perhaps) in/out of is is the x-files echoarea. I say that because the show is due to relaunch soon and there is certainly renewed interest and discusion taking place again in newsgroup sharing the same name.

The gate is also one way, and nothing posted on the fidonet side will make it's way to the usenet area.

Babylon5 hasn't been on the TV for many years and as such the message count has dived down to near zero.

sorry for the late reply, between my nc 340 job (taking on another node - not in my net) he ask for a bunch of fdn's I didn't have (add to my bbs file area took a few days, move things around, and then there allfix and tinytic and then
areafix them) while I am doing this that person os (linux - not sure what one) went bye bye, he had to use a backup (not very current) he fix things up, and sort-of find a few problems, and then getting ready for a vaction (haven't started to pack yet)
