About the time we get to know something, it changes...
That's why they want to us to spend money we don't have on
items we don't need, and can't afford.
Microsoft Windows is a perfect example. They are ending
support for Windows 10 in October, 2025, and that also kills
support for anything 32-bit or less (they already ended any
support for Windows 8 and below).
I can NOT see discarding perfectly good working hardware and
software, just to satisfy the corporate greed of Microsoft's
bottom line...especially when I'm disabled and on a fixed income.
Most folks will likely not worry about security updates for
Windows 10 after October, 2025...or likely go to Linux.
