That's really cool! I just missed you on Diamond Mine again :p
I'm posting this on a tiny decade-old Pocket PC. Not nearly as awesome as an Amiga, but it's nice to have mobile computing, and not pay a monthly cell fee, haha! No iPhone for my device was free!

long as old Pcket PC is still working and see if it's still going
in the years time. Seems like computers that was made in the 80s
and wealy 90s out last the modern PC by far Peter.

I must agree, the workmanship was much higher when computers, and consumer electronics in general were considered an investment, rather than a cheap disposable device that'l Be thrown out with the next fad. Everything was built like tanks, with heavy metal (haha, no pun intended) cases. Most of my stuff was free or inexpensive second hand, yet it was top of the line back in the day, and will outlast the junk people spend more money on buying new. But sadly, many people dont plan to keep their current purchases, as they'll just wastefully throw it out for something newer but of lower quality, for a television ad told them to.

I don't know..... I've paid more for some of my vintage Atari stuff on E-Bay than it cost back when it was new..... but alas..... Loving every moment!

The reason we love it so? For me, it's because back in those days, life was good.

    To which Drew Klenotic replies...

So NComm is the terminal on the Amiga side... What are you using on the PC
side as your gateway? I'm using a Lantronix for running this BBS on an Atari, but I'm considering a PC serial solution because the Lantronix box can't do a "busy" signal or any kind of "Working on the BBS, come back later" to let the caller know they can't connect for a good reason and not that the BBS is dead or something.

LOL! You obviusly did not use Atari computers when "it was new". Are you paying $200 for a Atari 400 or $400 for a Atari 800? I don't believe those are the current prices, but on average that is what they went for when they were new.

Got a good laugh off this message though.
