It's not a finish line, just another lap (of the sun) done. :D You don't want to hear a bell ringing at that point, because then you're on your last lap. :D
Lucky lucky... damn my parents! :D
Hahaha and the rest of me is holding up pretty well. That's both good luck (genes) and good management (lots of training). :)

Totally agree. I'll never admit I'm on my last lap! :D

Yeah, the 'training' part helps ALOT! I'm doing the gym thing to
atleast keep the LOOK of youth!

My first gray that I noticed was once I was shaving. I should point out that I wear a gotee...
But anyway, I'm shaving then washing the 'left over' shaving cream from
my face and some won't wash out. It was gray in my 'beard.' LOL
Hehe!!!
I used to go to the barbershop every week, I had the same haircut for
the last 5 or so years, faded, and thin on top. I remember, like it was yesterday! (I wish it was!) when I finally started going bald, I
thought my barber messed up my hair! I went home, got in the shower, looked in the mirror, and I thought I cut my hair too then on the top
of my head! I didn't wanna believe I was going bald! So I rushed back
to the shop to complain!! hahaha
We had a good (tearful!) laugh about it! I started to just cut it all
off, so I
DID save some money! ;)
Well, the last 7 days training:
Wed - Gym (legs and upper body), then a lassage, followed by some light javelin throwing. Thu - Track session - Warmup, drills then 5 x 80m at 85% effort (which is enough to get me to around 30 km/h these days!) Fri - Gym (core) followed by yoga. Sat - 3.3km cross country relay leg. Sun - Track session - warmup, 6 x 200m with reducing rest, then gym (legs and core) Mon - 3km treadmill and gym (core) Tue - Today! - warmup, 5 x 300m at 1km pace (roughly).

Geesh! Are you traning for the Decathalon! :D I wish I could do PART
of that, I have back issues so when I go to the gym, I just lift and do cardio. You can be my personal trainer!! hehe

This time of year, my focus is on general fitness - strength, power, endurance, flexibility, while doing enough speed work to maintail my basic skills, without being overtaxing. I also have to regularly work on acceleration repition, because that is the weak part of my race, despite having more power than average. So far, repetition is my friend there.
You wouldn't be the first who's asked for my help, or that I've given help to with their fitness. :)

I dunno WHAT happened with that last message I sent, it got all kinda
ways wacky!
I've been making a conscience effort on my health. It was easier in my 20's! now almost hitting 50, if I want to live satisfying live I've had
to make it more of my routine. I actually been losing weight over the last 2 months. I feel healthier!
