• Notes for VABF19 (Havana Wild Weekend)

Not too bad. I liked the overall plot and there was a bit of silliness here and
there but it was a neat Grampa-vs.-aging story and hit well on all counts. Super short of course!

Also amusing: last week's Bob's Burgers was about horse meat.

    DYN:
...Deb Lacusta (wife of Dan C.) co-wrote the episode and guest voiced as well?

    Previous episode stuff
PABF17: opening clouds sucked into a black hole very much like that one
BABF13: blackboard ("Being right sucks") probably a reference to Trump's unlikely victory in the election last week, as "predicted" in 2000
1F16: Burns' trapdoor in "Vulture's Nest" has been seen before
FABF16: going outside the country for medical help (Marge even mentions the option of Canada)

    Meta
VABF19 license plate on the old car in Cuba
Bart changes his usual graffiti slogan to "The Bart" while in Cuba, and has occasion to say "ay caramba"
Grampa plays a romantic guitar rendition of the theme song, identifying it as "one that's been in our family for years"

Sucks to be a 'Simpsons' producer, anyway.
