• Notes for VABF16 (Treehouse of Horror XXVII)

Well hey, happy 600. Happy actual 600. Happy 20-seconds-overtime! I liked this pretty well. Classy boasts about the series' longevity, some very nicely paced segments with lots of well done gore. Even if Moefinger is the exception to the
TOH formula, it was also enjoyable and the 600 song at the end was cute. (And funny, I was just today spinning some Goldfinger soundtrack to myself.) Glad it
wasn't a stinker or too ponderous.
    DYN:
    ...this is rated 14LV?
...Homer is dressed as Bender (with Futurama being one of the many cancelled Fox shows mentioned at the end)?
...Grimey seems to be referring to the FXX marathons when mentioning the marathons in hell?
...Homer has "Logan's Rum" in the first two stories (I didn't catch whether it was in the third)?
...Sherri and Terri's relatives we've never heard of have names that *almost* rhyme (depending on your accent)?
...Pamela Hayden (I think) in a rare non-recurring role (as Lisa's psych)? ...Bart has a green shirt for some reason when he throws Lisa's childhood memories away?
    ...a lefthanded microwave?
    Previous episode stuff
9F13: Ralph's memorial in the Hunger Games segment
VABF18: Homer is eating with a ladle out of a microwave on his lap again already
    Meta
Various things, including the memorial wall in Moe's (Marvin Monroe and Uter, both of whom seem to have returned - Uter was even in act 1), a conspicuous closeup of Wolfcastle (McBain) in the Bond segment

It's her. She also voices Peta in the episode.

Maurice LaMarche is credited, but not in the actual episode. He cameoed
as Hedonismsbot in the full VR version of the couch gag.

    What's this VR couch gag?
